The program emphasizes and teaches four key points to self-recovery: Building and Maintaining Motivation, Coping with Urges, Managing Thoughts, Feelings and Behaviors, and Living a Balanced Life.

Introduction to SMART Recovery

One Key (AA): Tuesdays at 6:30 PM in the BARC

The first Twelve Step program for Recovery, it is a voluntary worldwide fellowship of men and women who meet to attain and maintain sobriety. Sobriety is maintained through sharing experience, strength and hope at group meetings and through working through the suggested Twelve Step program for recovery with a sponsor.

NAMI: Wednesdays at 4:00 PM

NAMI, the National Alliance on Mental Illness, is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization, dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness. NAMI support groups are peer-led and offer participants an opportunity to share experiences and gain support from other attendees.

Living Room (Al-Anon): Thursdays at 5:00 PM in the BARC

A spiritual fellowship for those who have been affected by someone else’s drinking and using. Members can include parents, children, spouses, partners, brothers, sisters, other family members, friends, employers, employees, and coworkers of those who misuse drugs and alcohol, and who are addicted to pornography. Al-Anon is not a program for finding or maintaining sobriety. It is a program to help the families recover from the effects of someone else’s addictive behaviors.
