Hayley Thomas
Recovery Program Manager
My name is Hayley Thomas, and I am originally from a small town in Mississippi.
I joined the BARC as the Recovery Program Manager in October of 2024. I received my bachelor's degree from Mississippi State University in 2017, and my master’s degree in College Student Personnel and Administration from the University of Central Arkansas in 2020. I have a passion for meeting students where they are and supporting them as they go through their college experience. Before entering the Recovery Program Manager role for the BARC, I served as a Residence Hall Director for Campus Living & Learning at Baylor for over three years. That experience led to me developing a deep fondness for Baylor Students and the Waco Community. My goal is to always be a guiding hand and connect students to resources that will best support them in their long-term success, especially those navigating addiction and recovery as it aligns closely to the experiences of those close to me. I am very blessed through my work to have the opportunity to walk and serve alongside students and aid in their development as they navigate their college experience. I reside in Waco with my favorite pal, my dog, Honey B! In my free time I enjoy going to the movies, working out at hotworx, taking Honey B on campus walks, and/or listening to all the True Crime docs & podcasts.
